The Practice of YOGA NIDRA is useful in reducing stress, restoring energy, improving concentration, supporting health and wellness, clearing negative thoughts, improving quality of sleep, changing negative or unsuitable habits, and encouraging love and compassion for self and others.

YOGA NIDRA is a relaxing practice of “rotation of consciousness” through the body to bring oneself into a state of deep rest.  This is done lying on the floor with cushions and blankets for comfort and support.  All supports will be available.


We use YOGA NIDRA to bring us to a place where the mind moves between relaxed awareness and light sleep.  This state of mind supports wellness and healing at all levels of body and mind, allowing us to connect with inner-self.

In addition to YOGA NIDRA, this class will include the practice of affirmations.  You’ll receive guidance in creating a statement of “intention” or “resolve” for use during your practice.  The combination of YOGA NIDRA and AFFIRMATION is a powerful combination to move us toward change, healing, and accomplishment.

Recognizing and affirming your most heartfelt desire is the first step toward manifesting it!  Your statement of resolve or affirmation can be used again and again, until you begin to manifest the change you are hoping for.   JOIN US!
